Event Objectives

This year is the third time for the Greater Nagoya Dental Meeting (GNDM) to be held, which was launched to reinvigorate dentistry in the central area under the slogan: “From Nagoya to the World”. Nagoya had previously lagged behind other major areas, such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, in information transmission.
To address this situation, the 1st GNDM was held in 2017 to create opportunities for study groups based in Nagoya to exchange and grow together, and successfully stimulated the dental field in Nagoya. During the 2nd GNDM entitled: <Currently Focused Endodontic Therapy >, endodontic therapy was examined from various perspectives and discussed in a symposium style.
The 3rd GNMD will address: <Basics and New Trends of Dental Prosthetic Services >, with participants, including dental technicians and hygienists, to develop deep insights into subjects from the basics of prosthodontics to the latest topics in this area.
The GNDM pursues truly patient-centered medicine by continuously holding these symposiums in Nagoya. It aims to transmit information from this to other areas of Japan and throughout the world in the future.

Message from Director Yoshiro Iida

The 3rd event of the GNDM, which was launched in 2017 under the slogan: “From Nagoya to the World”, will address <Basics and New Trends of Dental Prosthetic Services>. Participants will examine various aspects of dental prosthetic services, and extend discussions on them. From this year, sessions for dental technicians/hygienists will be simultaneously held as part of the program, with a view to making it easier for co-dental staff to participate. Let us start our 2019, the last year of the Heisei period, by meeting at the GNDM on January 27!
